Hypnosis techniques have shown to be very effective in solving the problems of people. Hypnotist, with the help of one of the hypnosis techniques puts the patient into hypnotic trance and induces suggestions of behavior or reinforcing beliefs that a person may have. Essentially, hypnosis relies on the suggestions given by hypnotist. The suggestions of hypnotist are generally divided into two types: direct suggestion and indirect suggestion. The suggestions, which are directed clearly from the hypnotist to patient, are direct suggestions such as “You are feeling relaxed now”. Where as indirect suggestions are the suggestions that are not suggested directly to the patient, rather focus deceptive methods to sort of ‘trick’ the mind into believing that it should take a certain course of action. There are several techniques, which a hypnotist uses for hypnotizing a person. The following are some of the main hypnosis techniques used. Age Regression Age regression is one of the common hypnosis techniques used by hypnotist. In this technique, hypnotist induces suggestions into the mind of the patient that will make the patient to revisit the thoughts that they had at a certain point in their lives. When the patient re-visits the thoughts, he or she encouraged to go back to the decision that he or she decisions in the past, hopefully this thought is helpful in increasing the self confidence and power strength Revivification Another one of the hypnosis techniques, which is used for hypnotizing patients, is Revivification. This hypnosis technique is similar to age regression. Just like in age regression, in revivification the patient is asked to recall their past. However, in revivification, patient is suggested to remember one certain incident, so that it remains fresh in their mind and the hypnotist can work from that point of view. Guided Imaginary Another one of the hypnosis techniques, which is effective in relaxing a patient and making sure that they remain calm, is guide imaginary. Guided imaginary is a hypnosis technique During this technique, the patient is told to imagine new experience, and this imagination is carefully and colorfully decried so as to relax the patient’s mind. Parts Therapy Parts therapy is another hypnotic technique, which is effective in helping the people in solving their problems. This hypnosis technique was pioneered by Charles Tebbetts. In parts therapy, a patient analyzes their problem while the patient is under hypnosis, while the hypnotist tries to break the problem that they are having down into specific parts. While doing so, hypnotist is able to identify the parts, in which there is problem, and carefully suggests exactly what is to be done by the patient so as to correct the problems. Confusion Another one of the hypnosis techniques is confusion. Milton Erickson is the person who created this hypnotic technique. In this technique, hypnotist confuses the patient. By this the patient more likely respond to indirect forms of suggestions used in other hypnosis techniques. Repetition Repetition is another one of the hypnosis techniques, which is useful in helping the people to solve their problems. In this technique hypnotist suggests the patients over and over again that the patient have for their behavior in the hopes that it will make them more receptive to the change. Hypnoanalysis Hypnoanalysis is one of the powerful hypnosis techniques. Patient is asked to bring up a specific memory from the past with the help of this hypnoanalysis. Then the patient is asked to recall what he or she remember, and as a result the patient will be in a position to release emotions with that particular time. Visualization Another useful hypnosis technique is visualization. In this hypnosis, helps the patient in providing clear imagery, so as to help them in visualizing. It has been shown by studies that it will be helpful for you to sep up goals when a person properly visualize your goals immensely. Now that you have learned the various hypnosis techniques, it would be easier for you get hypnosizes,
